Benefits and how to become a member

Who can become a member of TCOE?
TCOE supports the Black youth within the Howard County school system, as well as the parents within the community. Monies donated and collected for membership are used to support the celebrations of students, including awards given to seniors as well as the medallions provided to every graduating senior that attends the Celebrations of Excellence.

As a member, a person has the opportunity to join an organization and actively participate in advocating for equity for Black students by join one of the TCOE committees. If you are able to volunteer your time and talents to support the mission, goals, and objectives of TCOE, support and attend our events and member meetings, and actively participate to enact positive growth and development of the Black Community of Howard County, please join us by becoming a member.
In applying for a membership, you will need: - to complete an application; - approval from the sponsorship committee; - after approval, payment of annual dues ($75 initial annual dues ($15 for induction and $60 yearly annual dues).
